In June 2017, a community event was held in Liphook to explore the main challenges and opportunities within the parish. The results of this event are summarised in this report and will provide a key ingredient to the emerging Bramshott & Liphook Neighbourhood Plan.

Visioning Event report

The next meeting of the NDP Steering Group will be held on Thursday 10th August, 7.30pm. Venue to be confirmed.

There will be a Steering Group meeting on Thursday 27th July, 7.30pm, in the Canada Room at the Millennium Centre.

The Liphook Millennium Centre hosted the Bramshott and Liphook Neighbourhood Development Plan Visioning Event on Wednesday 14^th June. The event was led by Richard Eastham and his team from Feria Urbanism, an independent planning and design team, who have been appointed by the Parish Council to provide advice on the process of developing a neighbourhood development plan and to provide fresh ideas and new ways of thinking.

The visioning event, looking at some of the critical issues affecting Bramshott, Liphook and the surrounding hamlets, was well attended with over 60 people from across the Parish representing local businesses, services, residents, community groups and organisations.  The evening consisted of a series of structured tasks carried out over the evening which everyone actively participated in.

Emma Winfield, Chair of the Neighbourhood Development Plan said “It was fantastic to have so many people representing the voice of the community at the visioning event. The room reflected a good range of interests and opinions from around the Parish. There was a great atmosphere discussing what is positive about our Parish, and the challenges it faces. I look forward to seeing the results of the evening and with the steering group soon to be in place, developing the key messages discussed at this event. With Feria Urbanism, we will start to look at these messages and develop a timetable for future community engagement events as part of the Neighbourhood Development Plan.
